What is the reHyve Energy Syrup?
It is a nutraceutical syrup (FSSAI food category 13.6 — food supplements) made to an approved Statement of Ingredients. Each daily serve of 20 ml provides caffeine (30 mg), vitamin B1, an electrolyte blend of magnesium, potassium and sodium salts, beta alanine, taurine and sodium citrate. How much should I take, and when?
The recommended serve is 20 ml once daily for an adult, or as advised by a healthcare expert. Do not exceed the recommended daily usage. This product is for adults only and is not recommended for children or for pregnant and lactating women.
How much caffeine does it contain?
Each 20 ml serve contains 30 mg of caffeine. Under FSSAI norms, total caffeine intake should not exceed 300 mg per day, with no more than 200 mg in a single dose. If you also consume coffee, tea or other caffeinated products, factor this in. Caffeine is not recommended for children or for pregnant and lactating women.
Is there anything I should know about beta alanine?
Yes. As per the approved statement, beta alanine intake should stay within 4–6 g per day and should not be continued for more than 4 weeks at a stretch. If you take other supplements containing beta alanine, count them toward this limit. Consult a healthcare expert if unsure.
Is this product a medicine?
No. This is a health supplement, not for medicinal use, and it is not intended to prevent, treat or cure any disease. It is not a substitute for a varied diet.
